| Bio: | Mutable - Changeable; inclined to mutate That's me. *grin* A few things are consistent: I'm geeky, cat-loving, female-bodied, married to a lovely guy I met when we were both five, dislike country music, love playing with technology, and think cheese is one of the best foods ever invented. I frequently whirl around with most other things, though. I started this IJ account on the same day I started down the spiritual path that may lead to something good and solid for me - Wicca or just plain paganism, I'm not sure yet. I've got a year of study ahead of me, after all. This'll be a sort of chronicle of my journey as I figure out what other parts of myself are stable beneath the surface, where I belong, and how to accept myself as a whole being, chaotic as I may be. My default icon is Chaos, the supposed villian in the old LucasArts adventure game LOOM. In LOOM, the hero is supposed to be trying to protect the order of the Tapestry, whereas Chaos wants to destroy it. At the end, (SPOILER ALERT), there's a sort of odd compromise: half of the Tapestry is saved by the guild of Weavers (transmuted into astral swans), and half is left to the forces of Chaos. A better compromise is possible, I think, and I doubt my tapestry will be rent so brutally asunder. Embrace Chaos. Weave Chaos into the tapestry. Be whole. | |||||||||
